Victor Abbam Arthur popularly known on Stage as “Omogimi” is a Ghanaian Songwriter, singer and a Rapper who has been in the music industry since 2010.
Born and Raised in Saltpond by-pass a town in Central region , Omogyimi started writing songs at the age of 11, he was desperate to become a musician, so he used to performed at funfairs and shows organized in Saltpond and its surroundings ,Even though it wasn’t easy for his family to support him after completing his junior High school Education at Kuntu D/A in 2008, Because of his passion and desperation of becoming a musician he started fishing at Saltpond and Ankaful.
He dropped his first professional singles and hit in November 2011, titled “Ankaful Okyir” a song composed for the fishing festival at Ankaful , Which was very popular and a jams for the people of Ankaful and others who celebrate Okyir festival.
Also In December 2013, he released another banger titled “My baby” which was also popurlar on the streets of central Region ,and most people titled it as Baby don’t leave me because of the lyrics, whiles two years after Omogyimi released a very inspirational song entitled “Suro Nyimp” which means human being are worth to fear’ and also added a Traditional song “Edin benya” meaning The lagoon located at bush has now turn into a shrine.
