Hype Is Empty And Does Not Add Up To Musician’s Career – Eric Jeshurun Blasts

Pastor Eric Jeshurun in an interview on Franky 5’s This Is Gospel radio show hosted on Hitz FM has lambasted musicians especially those in the gospel space who ride on fake publicity stunts to keep their brands relevant. The minister speaking on the issue termed the act as “empty” and does not in any form add up to the lives of their followers.

“Hype has not helped any gospel musician. I don’t believe in hype, it doesn’t carry any influence. Hype is empty. These people who follow them because of hype are the same people you will ask if they want them as their MP’s and they will say no. We have people that we listen to and people that we follow. I tell you Franky, music that are churned out amidst hype and controversies, where do they get to?  I have learnt not to build my strength on hype they are empty.” He told Franky 5 the host.
