Popular among all the works is the “Papa Nu” song by iconic Barima Sidney. The song is regarded, satirical and makes mockery of the so called “Papa Nu.”
The creativity, coupled with the rumours surrounded by the banter was depicted in the song. Especially, with the allegation that the “Papa Nu” happens to be
ex-president John Dramani Mahama and the year being considered as an election year with the composition made by a supposed NPP card bearing member.
The song has now become social media sensation being put at the background of almost every visuals created. In some vicinities, it’s serves as a form of greetings.
The musician sensing danger, on 20th of August, 2020 released a press statement disassociating himself from all creative works having his composition; “Papa Nu” at their backgrounds.
In an interview today on Max Fm, Barima Sidney has called for a remix of the song with Tracy Boakye which she has agreed to.
Damage control is about to be done having persons from both NPP and NDC feature on a song. The term has caused a lot to the NDC party. Controlling the damage is the only way out now. It is a good course to be supported by the NDC especially.
